Midrail HeightIf your window is 1800mm or larger in height, a midrail will need to be put in your shutter. Simply measure from the base edge of your architrave to the middle of the mullion of your window. This will be the measurement for your midrail height. If your window does not have a mullion, simply measure from the bottom edge of your architrave up towards the middle of your window. This will be your measurement for the midrail height. The purpose of the midrail is to maintain the strength of the structure of your shutter.
