SCREENY AWNING SYSTEM

DESIGNED &ENGINEERED IN ITALY

The patented Screeny awning system is designed by engineers from Italy’s BAT Group, one of the largest awning manufacturers in Europe.

The vast majority of components in the Screeny system are manufactured on site at BAT’s state-of-the-art facility in Noventa di Piave, Venice.

This facility, which even boasts its own foundry, provides complete quality control at every stage of the production process.

SCREENY OVERVIEW

The Screeny system caters for blinds up to 8m in width and up to 5m in height, with three types of guide available to suit your application: GPZ – Zip Profile, GP – Guide Profile, and GC – Guide Cable.

There are three system sizes which may be selected by your outdoor blind specialist: 110, 130, and 150. The appropriate system size will be dependent upon the awning dimensions and the thickness of your chosen fabric.

Each Screeny is also assigned a maximum wind class which is determined by European standard EN13561. Wind Rating decreases as awning size increases due to the correlation between surface area and wind pressure. A wind rating of 3 corresponds to force 6 on the Beaufort scale, whilst ratings of 2 and 1 correspond with force 5 and force 4 respectively. The blind should be rolled up when winds exceed the rated strength. It is also important to ensure that your installer mounts the awning in an appropriate load bearing location.

Screeny awning systems come with a 5 year warranty for total peace of mind.* Congratulations on selecting a Screeny system. We know you’re going to love the Italian awning experience

*5 Year Warranty for Screeny awning systems applies when distributed or assembled by Peekabo Blinds and Shutters Products. For details and conditions refer to the warranty documentation available from your specialist or by writing to sales@peekabooblinds.com.au

ZIP PROFILE

Combining the pinnacle of external blind technology with the elegance of Italian design, the Screeny GPZ is the primo awning system to suit even the most luxurious of outdoor spaces.

Screeny GPZ systems retain the awning fabric within Zip Profile side channels. There are no gaps on either side between the profile and the fabric sealed within. This creates a very strong and stable awning with beautiful aesthetics, and resistant to glare, rain and insects.

We recommend selecting a cassette to complete the premium look of the system while enclosing and protecting your awning when not in use.

GUIDE PROFILE

Screeny GP features a Guide Profile system. The Guide Profile provides an unobtrusive channel to keep your awning in perfect position. Naturally the system may be used with the Screeny cassette to enclose and protect your awning when not in use.

CABLE GUIDED

A Screeny Cable Guided awning brings a stylish modern look to the outdoor areas of your home whilst providing privacy and control of heat & glare. Precisely engineered components ensure durability of the system and smooth operation.

Stainless steel cables guide the awning as it travels up and down, and help maintain the position of the blind against the breeze.

A beautifully designed cassette is available to enclose and protect your awning when not in use, whilst enhancing the external appearance of your home.
